Founded by amateur golf enthusiast Cathy Reid, Twisted Golf Tees was born out of a love for the game and a twisted mishap on the golf course. Cathy was having a wonderful round of 18 holes with a good friend when they came upon an impossibly hard tee box. You know what we mean. Cathy’s friend attempted several times to insert her wooden tee into the cold hard ground when all of a sudden, the tee broke and went through her hand. Ouch!

 

And just like that, a lovely day of golf was ruined with a trip to the ER. While this is not a normal day of golf, it certainly inspired a solution.
